Yoruba Records is ecstatic to welcome back Hallex M with our latest release, the 'Oggun EP'. Kicking off with the title track, Carlos Mena lends his voice to give praise to Oggun, the warrior-protector Orisha, in this low end heavy and celebratory groove. Slowing things down a bit, 'Lhasa' is a more subtle and relaxing cut, teasing you with a beautiful piano melody and funky bassline. Nickodemus gets to work with his remix of the title track 'Oggun'. Giving this a treatment with a thick and stubby bass, this mix takes things to a deeper territory appreciated by discerning dancefloors. We round out the EP with 'Show You The World', a laid-back love song featuring the warm and inviting vocals of Gabriele Poso. Once again Hallex shows his prowess in crafting emotionally intelligent dancefloor tunes; we hope you enjoy these as much as we have enjoyed bringing them to you!
