After the long awaited repress of Faithful a few weeks back we now present the 'Faithful Remixes' by Steve O'Sullivan as Bluetrain and Varhat. It was important for Irenic's labelboss Roger Gerressen to invite the right guys for this special project, producers with a crazy amount of talent and guys who have become good friends over the last few years. On the a-side we find the Bluetrain Special Edition Dub and it is exactly what you want from the stripped down minimalistic dub pioneer. Punchy, dubby, and very effective on the dancefloor. Varhat takes care of the b-side with a remix that honors the stabby synths from the original but with some deep drums and a growling modular bassline added to the mix to keep it fresh and unpredictable. Faithful with a modern twist.
